The single bulb/ballast kits are for a single bulb replacement such as low beams or high beams only. If you have one bulb for low beams and one bulb for high beams and they use different bulbs and you want both of them to be upgraded to HIDs then you will need two single/bulb ballast kits. If you have one bulb per function but they are the same bulb type then you can use our two bulb/ballast kits. If you require a bulb that has both high and low beams in one bulb then you will need our hi/lo kit such as the H4 kit. Please also note that the hi/lo kits include the hi/lo controller harness with battery connections. This harness is designed for a kit with two ballasts/bulbs. If you are using just a single bulb/ballast kit then you will only use one side of the harness. The other side can either be cut off or tucked out of the way. The same occurs if you purchase the battery harness for your HID kit. All the harnesses are plug and play. No cutting or splicing is typically required.
