Question about adding HID to 2006 Highlander
I had a 2004 V70R and replaced the stock bulbs with 5000k D2S. they were great! Thanks.
Now I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander and want to upgrade to HID. They are a 9006 bulb for the low beams. The car normally uses day time running lights but it’s the highbeam (9005 bulb) that’s reduced power.
Please help to know if the 9006 DDM ultra slim HID set is enough or will I need the to buy the battery harness or computer bulb out applications. Thanks. Tom

Hello,
Thank you for posting! For some reason I wasn’t being notified of new posts here.
Your can certainly add HIDs to your Highlander. You will simply need to order the kit in that bulb type and temperature you desire. Your vehicle will also require the battery harness (all Toyota vehicles seem to require this).
Please email or post with any other questions.

John
